Lokma: A Companion for Gatherings

Students learn the culture and processing steps of Lokma, traditional Tukish dessert, as a part of 'Turkish Cuisine' class at the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, Yeditepe University. Lokma is a landmark dessert from Izmir, Aegean Region of Turkey It is a fried dough soaked in syrup. Generally prepared for wedding ceremonies or funerals.
