Los benjamines [The Benjamins]

Kindergarten table with four portraits of Benjamin Franklin engraved on its surface –invisible due to the paint that covers them–, that are revealed as we draw on it, rubbing with graphite or crayons.
In my dreams, it would be possible that someone approached, noticed the scale (small, a kindergarten table) sat at the table and eventually, as he or she touched the relief, drew on the table revealing the most famous portrait of Franklin, the one that appears on the hundred dollar bills.
In this new context of isolation, it won’t be possible to interact with the work in person. As a way to recover that interactivity, I propose the chance of a distant interaction: people will be able to upload online the photo of a drawing that will be returned with a filter applied that will show the drawing as if it were made on the table, with the frottage drawing of Franklin’s portrait.
