Designed by Madrid architect Salvador Pérez Arroyo, the Madrid Planetarium is a center for the dissemination of astronomy. Opened in 1986, it underwent a thorough renovation between 2016 and 2017. It features several rooms for exhibitions, conferences, courses, and workshops for all audiences, as well as modern projection and audiovisual systems that allow for an immersive experience.
