Maria Znamierowska-Prüfferowa (1898–1990), was an ethnographer, professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland, and the creator and long-serving director of the Ethnographic Museum in Toruń, which was given her name after her death. She graduated from the School of Commerce in Liepājā in 1915.
