Estate of Tito Moreira Rato. The history of the Clube Desportivo de Paço de Arcos (CDPA) begins in 1921 with the creation of the Foot-ball Club of Paço de Arcos. In 1926, it merged with Sport Lisboa e Paço de Arcos (founded in 1922) to form the Paço de Arcos Sports Club. In 1944, a new merger took place, with the Desportivo Académico de Paço de Arcos (founded in 1937) and the Paço de Arcos Hóquei Clube (founded in 1939), finally forming the CLUBE DESPORTTIVO DE PAÇO DE ARCOS (CDPA). The oldest, the Foot-Ball Club of Paço de Arcos, was founded on 1-3-1921, so this date is considered the founding date of the CDPA.
