Collezione Fondazione Cariparma
Parma, Italy

On the back the card shows, in the tondo on the right, the portrait of turreted Italy in brick tones and the same watermark image on the left; in the center a lobed shape contains three cherubs in flight, gently embraced and on the side in brown there are the two indications in numbers of the value of the banknote. Still in brown all around, the intermediate frame is unrolled, also very decorated, where the allegorical figure of credit can be recognized at the top center, leaning on a goat, holding a cornucopia with an owl. On the left you can see a female figure with a wheel and trident, an allegory of industry, while on the right a male figure with his head covered by a winged petasus and a deer at his side, is the allegory of trade. In the lower center, the circular mark in vermilion ink shows the D.M. of 30 July 1896.
