This charming monkey-shaped salt shaker was probably made in a tank factory near Chelyabinsk, in the Urals. Although the design of the figurine was made by Walter Bosse for the Herta Baller company in Austria, he liked it so much that he found numerous followers, including in the Soviet Union.
