Detail of pressurizer of the first "instant" coffee machine with use of steam to extract the beverage, invented by Angelo Moriondo to promote his establishment (the Caffè Ligure in Turin). The machine consisted of a boiler heated by a wood-burning stove that, once brought to temperature, was moved with rollers and placed on a stove to maintain temperature and pressure.
