A bronze sculpture titled Musaion by the South African artist Andre Otto. The sculpture depicts an ancient harp fused with a crossbow and is located at the University of Pretoria's Music Department, a building which is also named the Musaion. Short biography: Otto obtained a BA (Fine Arts) degree at the University of Pretoria. He produces art full-time and also works in the commercial field of architectural sculpture and design; he worked in association with AWW/Themeworks and Olio (USA) on the Atlantis project, Palm Island, Dubai, creating bronze and fibre works. Otto has participated in in a number of group exhibitions and competitions since 1984, including the New Signatures, ABSA L'Atelier and Ekurhuleni competitions, and held his first solo show in 2002. Otto has executed a number of private and corporate commissions, including Musaion Sculpture.
