Pierluigi Cerri (Orta San Giulio, 1939) is an Italian architect and designer, he graduated at the Politecnico di Milano where he taught with Umberto Eco. In 1974 is a founding partner of Gregotti Associati, with which he won numerous architectural competitions. Member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale, in 1976 he conducted the photo exhibition of the Venice Biennale; was responsible for the image of the Kunst-und Ausstellungshalle in Bonn and of Palazzo Grassi in Venice. He was editor of the magazines Casabella and review; He collaborated with the magazines Lotus International, Abitare, Domus, L'Espresso; He directed a series of graphic design page, Electa. Among the awards the Compasso D'Oro in 1995 (graphic image by Unifor) ... In 1998 Pierluigi Cerri and David Chambers give life to studying Cerri & associates who carries out its activities in the fields of architecture, industrial design, interior design, graphic and exhibit of ship design.
