New room for periodical publications of the National Library of Peru

The reconstruction plans of the sinister National Library led by the new director of the institution, Jorge Basadre, also contemplated an internal restructuring of the library services and departments, as well as giving the library a new role within a democratic society. As part of the new services for citizens, a new newspaper and magazine publication room was created.
