The name ‘Dumulmeori’ means the “place where two rivers meet,” i.e. the Bukhangang River, which flows from Geumgangsan Mountain, and the Namhangang River, which originates from Geomnyongso Pond in Taebaek-si. Dumulmeori is renowned for beautiful scenes of early morning fog, picturesque docks, and weeping willows, making it a popular shooting location for Korean TV dramas and movies.
