Open air festival with Bob Dylan

The contrast with the original use of the Zeppelin area could hardly have been more stark. Where the National Socialist era had promoted order and discipline among the masses, in 1978 a rambunctious group of festival-goers partied to music by Bob Dylan. Few visitors, if any, were bothered in 1978 by the fact that from 1933 to 1938, the Zeppelin area was one of the principal sites for the Nazi Party Rallies in Nuremberg.
