According to family tradition this carriage was built for Prince Leopold von Bourbon-Salerno, a son-in-law of Kaiser Franz I. Since the prince was extremely corpulent, his hunting sausage was equipped with a swivel seat so that from the carriage he could comfortably shoot the game driven towards him without having to move himself. © Monica Kurzel-Runtscheiner: Crane Neck and Gold Crepine.
