"The Town of Padul, part of the Lecrín Valley. Jurisdiction of the City of Granada, its capital and master, from which it is three leagues. It covers two leagues from east to west, two from north to south, and has a circumference of eight leagues. It looks as above and adjoins the regions of Dúrcal, Villamena de Tozvijar, Albuñuelas, Dílar, Jayena, and Otura."
