Sydney Mufamadi to inform the king that I would bring a powerful businessman to build a school and a clinic in this kingdom. The king was un- compromising and was determined to haul me to his court. I received a blunt reply that the king wanted me to come alone to explain my insult to the tribe. I then organised the world’s biggest family enterprise, the German company Bohringer Ingelheim to acco- mpany me to the king’s court. When the businessman announced to the King and tribe what his firm together with the German Govern- ment planned to do, they became so excited that they completely forgot about me. I came out of that meeting with my grey hair unruffled. Mphaphudi is a comparatively young monarch. At that time he was a Bachelor of Law student at the University of the North, and his uncle was acting for him. His
