Steven Blankaart's 'Anatomia reformata, sive, Concinna corporis humani' was commercially successful, and had seven editions in Dutch, Latin, and German.

Blankaart's work was criticised by fellow anatomists for both plagiarism and errors in content. The image on this page is a poor copy of the skeleton and bones found in Vesalius' De Humani Corporis Fabrica Libri Septem, published in 1543.
