Copper Museum
Legnica, Poland

Black and white graphics depicting an imaginary building, in the middle of which there is a baroque palace that actually exists - the former curia of the Lubiąż abbots and now the seat of the Copper Museum in Legnica. The building [in the graphic] has a high ground floor and three asymmetrically placed glass halls in the upper part. The structure is supported on both sides by wooden scaffolding. The whole is shown in reverse perspective. In front of the main entrance, there is a circular square with tree branches schematically represented and smaller potted trees. The building and the square are meticulously designed, which contrasts with the sketched architectural elements (triforiums, pediments and arches) and trees located on the left and right margins and in the lower part. The graphics were made on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Copper Museum in Legnica.
