Pane metafisico

“Il pane metafisico” , realized by Carlo Benvenuto and donated to the Refettorio Ambrosiano, is formed by the superimposition of two photographic shots imprinted in the same film. The artist declared that: “It is a mental collage, an interlocking of two visions: bread, metaphysical, absolute, an abstraction made reality, and lights that cancels space by dazzling logic [...]. A language in direct contact with reality, a privileged contact with things. The Refettorio is a regeneration space. To participate is to share this emotion.”
