In the last couple of years, female authors like Nnedi Okorafor, Tomi Adeyemi, Temi Oh, amongst others, have produced incredible works of speculative fiction that are making waves globally. Where are the men? Why are women excelling in this particular area? This panel(Geoff Ryman, Nnedi Okorafor, Temi Oh Mohale Mashigo) addressed the emergence of brilliant female voices in the "spec-fic" sub-genre.
