Most African countries are failing to develop at the expected pace. Much of this is due to the milestone of corruption and inequality that is drowning the entrepreneurial spirit. Many writers use their art to confront the multiple manifestations of human venality and prejudice. This panel (Jibrin Ibrahim, Dilman Dila, Siphiwo Mahala, Mona Eltahawy) explored often neglected and more subtle consequences of corruption on different aspects of human experience and its impact on building societal institutions.
