View of Legnica from the Złotoryja Hill, from the west. In the foreground, there are vegetation and a path with two figures. On the right, the buildings partially covered with trees and two high smoking chimneys of the Siegeshöhe brickyard by Bienwald & Rother, established in 1865. The brickyard was built by Gottfried Bienwald, and its activities were developed by his son-in-law Julius Rother, creating one of the most important plants of this type in Silesia. A windmill is visible in the foreground. In the background there is a panorama of the city with all the characteristic towers and more important buildings, from the left: the towers and the roof of the Church of St. John, in the background the towers of the castle, the Church of the Virgin Mary with a two-tower facade, the Church of St. Piotra and Paweł before the reconstruction from the end of the 19th century. Among the buildings of the city at ul. On Złotoryjska, you can see the building of the Land and District Court, erected in the years 1870–1873.
