Copperplate engraving with the scene of the battle with the Mongols on April 9, 1241, depicting the moment of the death of Prince Henry II the Pious. In the background you can see the panorama of Legnica. The author of the illustrations is Gottlieb Boettger senior. The graphic appeared in the 1st volume of the history of Silesia by Carl Adolph Menzel ("Geschichte Schlesiens") from 1808. The panorama of Legnica is located on the horizon on the right side of the illustration, view from the south-east. Buildings from the modern times of the creation of graphics are schematically presented. The towers of the baroque church of St. John, the Church of the Virgin Mary and the castle.
