Phoenician Jug

A small Phoenician terracotta jug generally referred to as a mushroom-lipped jug. This particular specimen is missing the upper most part - or mushroom lip. Generally found in funerary contexts this is one of the very few examples that has been excavated and recovered from an underwater site.
