Our paintshop is where scenic artists create set pieces, props and backdrops. In the center is a paint frame which was installed in the 1970s. Canvases are stretched across it and can then be raised or lowered, removing the need for a ladder. Scenic artists can remain on the ground and still paint huge pieces which bring other worlds into our Auditorium .
