Photograph of the Barranco Bridge, in Lima. It is included in the album of photographic miniatures by José María Eguren from the archives of the National Library of Peru.
The Barranco Bridge, also known as the Bridge of Sighs, was built in the last quarter of the 19th century to join two ends of a stream. Made of wood, it was burned down during the War of the Pacific and rebuilt shortly after. It is currently a tourist attraction in the district.
