Graduation picture from Myung-dong Primary School on March 15, 1931. Yoon Dongju is on the far right of the second row. Myung-dong Primary School was an educational institution for the Korean people that was established in 1908 under the leadership of the poet’s uncle, Kim Yakyeon, and that produced many talented people of the time. It was closed in 1925 and later operated by Myung-dong Church.
