Zoila Aurora Cáceres Moreno (Lima, 1877 - Madrid, 1958) was a Peruvian writer and journalist, social activist and one of the forerunners of the women's suffrage movement in Peru. In 1905 she founded the Social Center for Ladies in order to promote the education of women in different trades. Years later, Cáceres supported and participated in meetings and in the organization of workers' associations, where in addition to advocating for labor rights, she expressed her support for women's work. The National Library of Peru currently preserves part of its collection of letters, records of its political participation, newspaper clippings and various drafts of the writer.
