Zoila Aurora Cáceres Moreno (Lima, 1877- Madrid, 1958) was a Peruvian writer and journalist, as well as a social activist, considered one of the forerunners of the women's suffrage movement in Peru. In 1924 she founded the Femismo Peruano (Peruvian Feminism) institution in order to fight for the civil and political rights of women. To achieve this end, she sought the adhesion of women and men to her cause, through letters and conferences, as well as publications and the circulation of flyers. Currently, part of her collection of personal documents is kept by the National Library of Peru.
