On the back of the cardboard the photograph is attached to, there is an inscription. It reads: "Madame Marie Haist (neé Effie Lindaberry). I was 70 years old 5th of April 1942. The dress + belongings was my great-grandmother and mother's wedding dress more than 100 years old. Also, the white-linen p_____ was my great-grandfather's wedding p_____: more than 150 years old. Great-grandfather + Mother Snyder. The shawl + neck handkerchief belongs to the dress she wore."
