Photograph by Anna Chiappe (Lucca, 1898 - Lima, 1990). This is part of the album of photographic miniatures by José María Eguren, in the funds of the National Library of Peru.
Widow of the notable essayist and ideologue José Carlos Mariátegui. He dedicated a large part of his life to spreading the works and thoughts of "Amauta" Mariátegui. He ran the Minerva bookstore. In recognition of his work, in 1975 he was awarded the Order of the Sun of Peru in the Official Grade and, in 1986, he received the Civic Medal of the City of Lima.
