Photograph by José Antonio Percy Gibson Möller (Arequipa, 1885 - Bielefeld, 1960). This is part of the album of photographic miniatures by José María Eguren, in the funds of the National Library of Peru.
Gibson was a well-known poet of the early 20th century. He was self-taught and fostered contact between the Arequipa poets of his time through a group called "El Aquelarre". Later, in Lima, he alternated with the "Colónida" group of the writer, journalist and cartoonist Abraham Valdelomar (Ica, 1888 - Ayacucho, 1919). He was a curator at the National Library of Peru under the charge of the writer and public manager Manuel González Prada (Lima, 1844 - 1918). He published his work in various magazines.
