Picture Plate from "The Hamburg Museum of Ethnology" (p. 161)

This picture plate accompanied Georg Thilenius' publication "Das hamburgische Museum für Völkerkunde" (The Hamburg Museum of Ethnology), which was published in the series "Museumskunde" (Museum Studies) in 1916. It shows four examples of the newly installed showcases in the new building of the museum, which opened in 1912.The individual images are part of the museum’s photographic collection.
