The Route of the Museums of Caesaraugusta
Zaragoza, Spain

Fragment of a ceramic handle made with light-colored clay and a small degreaser, using a wheel and oxidizing firing. The piece would have a slightly curved edge with a rounded lip.

It presents a circular seal on the upper part of the handle, inside which two straight lines can be seen, one of them accompanied by a circumference in its central part, possibly being a pottery or workshop signature.

In the city of Zaragoza there were a large number of workshops dedicated to the ceramic production of everyday goods such as jugs.
