The figure represents a man with a sad wrinkled face, short deformed legs with crutches under his armpits. One bag hanging on his chest, and the other is slung over his left shoulder. The back and back of the body aren't carved.
Mato Generalic was born October 7, 1920 in Hlebine. Brother of Ivan Generalic. He was a farmer who devoted himself to sculpture since 1950. The development of realistic reveals his affinity with the pre-war works of his brother Ivan. His first exhibition was in Hlebine in 1965. He died in Zagreb in 1985.
