Possible representation of language on the Demoledores Panel

This type of human figure dominates the Demoledores panel. They have large rectangular torsos, some of which are patterned, that appear to represent a decorated rectangular robe, as well as relatively broad raised arms that convey reverence. Some of these figures are headless. Intriguingly, geometric shapes resembling Greek frets appear to emerge from the upper part of the body, which could represent language.
