Revitalized by the changes made in 2013, Praça de Lisboa (Lisbon Square), with its many pathways, provides new ways of viewing its surroundings, serving as the element combining them together. This area, in the immediate periphery of the original wall, which is effectively reconstructed by the alignment of the buildings ahead of it, was, in the eighteenth century, an expanding area. It was transformed over the course of the following century, with the demolition of the wall and the use of fencing round the convents, and it is now one of the main centers of the city's life.
