Processional Monstrance

The main event of the Corpus Christi festival was the procession in which the consecrated host was exhibited through the streets inside incredible goldsmith pieces created for said celebration. The collegiate church of San Antolín commissioned this monstrance from the Medina silversmith Cristóbal de Vergara and years Later it was gilded by the Medina del Campo City Council.
