The Project Star of Tomorrow, integrates Enel Sharha Esporte e Leisure, which develops a work with young people through sports activities, used as an educational tool and also promotes access to spaces and leisure activities in cities. More than a sponsor, Enel Distribuição Rio will be an active partner in the Craque do Amanhã project, following the results and offering young people the opportunity to benefit from other social initiatives of the companies. The Project Star of Tomorrow has as godparents actress Juliana Paes and football players Ibson, Vagner Love and Paulo Henrique Ganso. The initiative recognizes football as a great educational potential, capable of contributing to the formation of citizenship, combating violence, respect for human rights and social inclusion. All the methodological action of the project is guided from the premises of UNICEF, present in the Guide of Sport and Citizenship. They are: inclusion of all; collective construction; respect for diversity; integral education and towards autonomy.”We had already sponsored this project in 2012 and 2013. And again collaborating with this initiative only highlights our commitment to the development of citizenship and the promotion of the quality of life of our clients. We were able to be closer to children and young people, offer development opportunities not only in sport, but also support in school, and consequently also relate to their families”, says Leonardo Soares, coordinator of Sustainability Projects in Distribution. The initiative is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), mainly SDG 4 (Quality Education).
