This color illustrated postcard features four mills in Charlotte: Hoskins Mill, Chadwick Mill, Mecklenburg Mill, and Elizabeth Mill. Chadwick Mill began operation in 1901. Its sister mill was Hoskins Mill. Mecklenburg Mill opened in 1905 and was located on North Davidson Street. Elizabeth Mill was located at Suttle Avenue and Wilkinson Boulevard.
