This Prosopocoilus giraffe specimen from Southeast Asia is the world's largest stag bettle specimen with a length of 12.3cm, the same as the world's largest stag bettle in the Guinness World Records. This kind of stag beetle is popular among beetle enthusiasts because of its streamlined teeth and large size. This specimen was originally kept in a private museum in Japan and then was bought by a collector from Taiwan. The Insect Museum of West China obtained it from Taiwai in 2012.
