This document records the special bequeathal on the sixth day of the eleventh month, 1612 by Yi Jiyeong’s wife Lady Yi to her son-in-law Bak Uijang, for his devoted care towards her and the huge banquet that he hosted to celebrate her birthday. The property subject to special bequeathal included a female slave named Jyeonggae and her future offspring. The bequeather, Lady Yi, stamped the document with her seal inscribed “Yi Jiyeong’s Wife, Lady Yi,” while the documentation was attended by Confucian scholar Yi Wi, who was her first cousin twice removed, and Yi Rin, who was her grandnephew, both of whom placed their names on this record as witnesses, while Confucian scholar Son Heunggyeom, who was her first cousin twice removed, also placed his name on it as witness and author.
