This work consists of an interactive installation composed of pieces that can be activated through a system of threads or plastic lids. The central piece represents the sea, origin of life, along with other pieces that attempt to portray memories of a woman. Playing with dolls and drawing were my first experimentation tools and Cindy was my sister’s doll, which I used to steal when I was a child and made her interact with my soldiers. Dissembling them and drawing them, I sublimated mandates in relation to the roles between the feminine, masculine and beauty archetypes. Since 2002, I’ve been building interactive pieces, from drawing to relief and sculpture volumes, researching on articulations and montage possibilities and inviting to manipulate them.
