Revolution of Troelstra Dutch Ivora Plate

Revolution of Troelstra Ivora plate depicts the attempt for a socialist revolution in The Netherlands under PJ Troelstra (1860-1930) who was active in the 1918 socialist workers’ movement known as the Sociaal Democratische Arbeiders Partij or Social Democratic Labor Party. The plate was made by P van der Want Plateelbakkerij Ivora and the back of the plate is marked ‘BACA’ who was the company HP van Baaren and CG Campagne, in Enschede they commissioned this from the Plateelbakkerij Ivora.
