These paintings show cell formation with DNA ribbons that are camouflaged with blocks of colour, just as the DNA ribbon is hidden within each cell.

Each string of DNA is shaped like a twisted ladder, which is called a double helix. The painting is inspired by the DNA ribbon coiled up within each cell.
