Saint Roch's Chapel, located in Rua do Souto, demolished in 1877.

The dedicated altar at the Cathedral was the responsibility of the Brotherhood of Saint Gonçalo of Amarante, a group that figures in written sources since 1599. During the 18th century, the seat of the Brotherhood was transferred to Saint Roch's Chapel (Portuguese: Capela de São Roque), in the Rua do Souto (Souto Street).
