Salt cellar with an inscription from Horace

On the lid of the salt cellar there is an inscription: "Beatus ille cui paternum splendet in mensa tenui salinum". The words from Horace's song and the date and initials (on the bottom of the vessel) suggest that it was a wedding gift.
