San Antonio UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy

San Antonio is a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy since 2017. San Antonio is one of only two U.S. cities – joining Tucson, Arizona – with the Creative City of Gastronomy status. The City of San Antonio World Heritage Office oversees the designation and work plan. Our mission is to strengthen San Antonio’s culinary legacy as a confluence of cultures.
