San Isidro festivities

The San Isidro festivities are Madrid's patron saint festivities in honor of Saint Isidro the Farmer. On May 15th and in the following days, the most traditional customs fill the streets: street parties and pilgrimages, traditional music and cuisine, chulapos and chulapas in regional costumes, and cultural activities in iconic locations like the Pradera de San Isidro.
