Begun in the 17th century, the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie was never completed; despite this, it still retains a very special charm, both because it is one of the most representative religious buildings of the ancient city, and for the mysterious tradition connected to it. Inside there is the sacred effigy of the Madonna and Child which, according to tradition, initially placed on an improvised altar, inexplicably it moved to the apse area of the church to watch over the city.
